An Arizona man allegedly confessed to killing his parents in a 911 call after attacking them with a hammer and knife, according to court documents.
Jonathan Turk, 29, is accused of killing his parents, Fraser Turk, 63, and Tina Turk, 56, whose bodies were discovered in Peoria on March 31.
Police say Turk called 911 around 6:29 p.m. and admitted to the killings, telling dispatchers he had attacked his parents because he was angry about being put on medication, according to court documents obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
He then told authorities he would wait outside for officers, holding a water bottle, investigators said.

Officers later recovered a hammer and knife believed to have been used in the attack from a trash can inside the home, according to court records cited by FOX 10 Phoenix. Turk declined to speak with investigators after his arrest.
Prosecutors say the case follows a history of mental health concerns. Court documents indicate the victims had filed multiple mental health petitions involving Turk, including three in 2026.
"We have concerns about his mental health and mental stability at this time," a prosecutor said during a court hearing.

"It was just a gut feeling. Like, a bad feeling. Like something was not right," the neighbor said. "I just always tried to walk on the other side of the street when I saw him out, and I just felt really uncomfortable because I have kids."

A friend paid tribute to the couple, writing that they are "struggling to understand such a senseless killing," describing the couple as "two beautiful souls" who had been married for decades.
"They were the definition of a model couple," the friend wrote on his Facebook. "They were an anchor of kindness and devotion… My heart is absolutely broken, and I will miss them beyond measure."
Turk faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder. His bond was set at $2 million cash-only, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9.
