Tamborine Mountain Distillery is Australia's most awarded distillery and liquor brand in the new millennium, with over 300 international awards. Hidden away in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. This boutique distillery manufactures fine Liqueurs, Schnapps, Vodka, Gins, Eaux de Vie and hand made Liqueur Chocolates. Established in 2003, Tamborine Mountain Distillery has been opened for tourism in 1998. Since then it has established a very enviable reputation, largely developed by word of mouth, with thousands of visitors each month, making it one of the "Top 5" group of things to do on the Mountain . Positioned at the gateway to the famous Gallery Walk tourist precinct, the large English Tudor style property houses the Cellar Door, whilst right opposite is the Distillery where all of the drinks are made. Tour bus bookings are essential. The cellar door is an Aladdin's cave with an eclectic mix of local handmade arts and crafts, show-casing the best the mountain has to offer.
