We are a family owned and operated business since 1945. We dry and machine on our site using locally grown SE QLD Hardwood from our own privately owned and managed plantation. Seven locally grown species available. With a stock holding of over 150,000 meters, we have the largest range of QLD made decking. Nothing imported here! Buy direct from the sawmill and save money. We can do special runs. Timber Treatment available. We specialise in big hardwood end sections. Based in Woodford, 1 hour north of Brisbane. You can pickup yourself or we can deliver by 12 ton crane truck north to Gympie, Noosa, Marochydore and Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast and down through Brisbane, Southport, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads to Byron Bay in NSW. We regularly do runs west to Kilcoy, Esk, Gatton and Toowoomba. Sawmillers and Timber merchants for over 50 years. Specialising in fine Australian Hardwoods.We specialise in locally grown Hardwood. The Grant Family's involvement in the timber industry dates back to the early 1890s and their involvement in sawmilling dates back to 1945.Based in Woodford, 1 hour north of Brisbane. We are open weekends by appointment for those who cannot make it during the week.After hours can also be arranged during the week.The sales team are Shane & CherylThey are online and ready to assist.Unlike pine, our durability class one decking will last a lifetime! And it’s better than steel as it will never rust! Fire resistant species. Our finished boards are a full 20 mm and 22 mm thick which will be stronger more durable and longer lasting than the traditional 19mm decking that is being sold locally. Our Standard and Better Grade is our top shelf material. High Feature is our second grade material. It can have hit and miss, gum vein, small holes and so on. It’s the same timber, drying process and machining as the Standard and Better Grade but it has more natural imperfections in it. We also have packs of shorts that are suitable for ramps, wheelchair access and so on.
